About the Program

The purpose of the Web Design and Interactive Media program is to provide students who want to learn how to design and implement attractive web web media with a good understanding of design fundamentals, a proficiency in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) coding techniques, and a working knowledge of a variety of web page development tools. The Web Design program at MBIT prepares students to enter a career in many design related fields or gives students’ the skills needed to enter higher education.

Graduate Spotlight

Andrew Bernert – Ithaca College

Andrew Bernert is a 2018 MBIT Web Design and Interactive Media Program graduate. He is currently attending Ithaca College in New York. Andrew is majoring in a program called “Emerging Media.” He is also minoring in Computer Science. Andrew hopes to have a career in technology when he graduates in 2023.

Daniel Getner – Jefferson University

Daniel Getner is a MBIT Web Design and Interactive Media Program graduate. He graduated from MBIT in 2019 and is currently attending Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is enrolled in the Graphic Design Communications Program. Daniel hopes to have a career in graphic design when he graduates in 2023.

Hannah Blaine – Millersville University

Hannah Blaine is a MBIT Web Design and Interactive Media Program graduate. She graduated from MBIT in 2018 and is currently attending Millersville University. She is enrolled in the Interactive Graphic Design Program. Hannah hopes to have a career in user experience design when she graduates.
