TruMark Financial hosted its fourth annual Kiss-A-Pig Financial Literacy Fundraiser on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at the Piazza at Schmidts, in Philadelphia. During the event, they recognized MBIT and the Web Design program for helping create the fundraising website. Students, Kylie Katelas and Joey Sliwka, were advised by instructor Steve Guinan, on creating a site for Trumark that included the financial literacy event, participants, and sponsors. Student’s in the Web design Program continue to work with members of the community to create websites.
The Trumark Financial Financial Literacy Kiss A Pig event provides the resources to schools in the area to teach the fundamentals of saving, borrowing, and investing, making a positive influence on the finances of young adults.
