Chapter 9: Rendering for Motion Graphics

Once you’ve completed your animation, the last step in the workflow is to output the composition to disc. After Effects has a versatile tool called the render queue, where we can define what kind of file should be created and how it should be rendered.

Chapter Objectives

  • Add compositions to the render que
  • Render multiple files in the render que
  • Render using media encoder
  • Learn how to use prerenderers

Assignment

  1. Go to: Render a Composition and download the files that go with the two lessons on the page and follow along with the videos. When complete save the file as Ch9Tutorial(your initials).  Place your AE file with assets into the Shared Drive. (10 Pts)
  2. Pick 4 out of the 6 Videos below to watch and complete. When each video is completed, Render them at half size and submit them in a folder called: Ch9Exercises(your initials).  I ONLY WANT THE RENDERED VIDEOS IN THE FOLDER!
