Introduction
You can insert keyframes at varying points along the Timeline to introduce new content on the Stage. By doing so, you can have images appear and disappear, and synchronize images to create a simple animation. Your animation won’t have smooth motion, but it will show different content over time.
For this project, you will create an animated postcard. The postcard will show various images during the animation that showcase your interests. You can choose to have the images remain on the Stage so they build up slowly, like a collage, or you can choose to have the images appear and disappear in succession without any overlaps. Or you may choose a combination of these techniques.

Grading Rubric (5 Points)
You will be graded according to the following criteria:
- How compelling is the animation, from beginning to end.
- Do the images remain on the Stage long enough for the readers to appreciate them?
- Does the project effectively use different layers to manage multiple images?
Instructions
- Create a new HTML5 Canvas and set the stage to 500 x 300.
- Find several images of things that represent you, or of things that you like. Import all the images into the Library panel, although you do not need to use all of them on the Stage for your final animation.
- Using the images Create an animated postcard this is a maximum of 10 seconds. Keep the minimum to 5 seconds.
- Use at least four images in your animation.
- Be sure to use different layers for different images so you can effectively organize how each image overlaps and how and when each image appears on the Stage. Name your layers to reflect their content.
- Be smart about using the Lock and Hide options for your layers to make your work more manageable. Lock layers that you don’t want to disturb, and hide layers that you don’t want to see, so you can focus on the other visible layers.
- Focus on the tempo and pacing of the animation. Ensure that the images remain on the Stage long enough so the viewer can appreciate them. Use a quicker tempo to build up drama and excitement.
- Save and submit your project accordingly: .FLA document CALLED: Project1(YOUR INITIALS) Place the finished .flv in the Network Drive
