Exercise

Objective

In this exercise you will use the transform tools in order to create an aquarium scene.

Instructions

  1. Open the exercise file here.
  2. Save the File as: Ch5Ex1_(YourInitials).ai
  3. Using the artboard that is provided, and the vector shapes of fish and sea life you will create an aquatic scene.
  4. Using the square shape tool insert a blue background.
  5. Using the vector sea life use the distort and transform tools do the following:
    1. Duplicate each object at least once (You may do it more)
    2. Scale the objects
    3. Shear at least one object
    4. Reflect at least 2 objects
    5. Rotate at least 2 objects
    6. Distort at least 2 objects
  6. Position the sea life to create an interesting composition on top of the blue background.
  7. Save the file.
  8. Submit the file into the Network Drive when complete.
